You will probably have to call Fujitsu to advise them of your problem and get the Adobe Acrobat 9 license once again as well as the driver you require. You cannot move this scanner from one computer to another without first deleting it from the first computer. Fujitsu is very helpful and will give you great advice.(I kept forgetting to delete the program before moving it to another machine and they were very helpful when I called to ask what to do.)
To scan a document into the computer you have to start the scan from the manager on the computer ...and there for you need it installed if you do not have it ..The button on the scanner will not send the scanned result to the computer ...but if you choose the job from the desktop command ..
so ..open the printer/scanner utility ..choose scan ..and the mode document or picture..and proceed..
it will ask you where to save it ..or auto place it in the my documents /my scans

get the download form ..fill it up ..and get the snap scan manager ..and use it ...if you have it ..just open it and make the scanning from there ..
