How do I perform a cold reset of an HP PSC 2175 All-in-One?
I've searched the HP Customer Care pages and have found
various solutions ...
To do a "artial Reset":
Unplug the power cord from the all-in-one.
Press and hold Cancel and the Left Arrow.
While still holding the buttons down, plug the power cord
back in.
Release the buttons after the all-in-one begins to
initialize.
To do a "Semi-full Reset":
Unplug the power cord from the all-in-one.
Press the Cancel and Right Arrow buttons.
While still holding the buttons, plug the power cord back
in.
Continue to hold the buttons for two seconds, and then
release them.
To "Reinitialize":
Unplug the power cord from the all-in-one.
Press and hold Cancel and the Right Arrow while plugging in
the power cord.
Continue holding both buttons until the reset displays, and
then release.
Are these solutions all supposed to do the same thing? Some
say the Left Arrow, others the Right Arrow. Which is it?
I've tried them all but none appear to be working - changes
I've made to the default settings are still there.
What I need to do is reset the printer to as it was when it
came out the box.
Any help would be appreciated.

Lihu - I know this is ages later, but if anyone is looking.
The methods listed above didn't do anything on my 2175. But you can do a Full Reset by unplugging while on and replugging while holding "Cancel" and "Enter."
---> citing cseian here - many thanks!
