i bought them yesterday if that makes a difference.
-i bought ink and i bought the wrong one... stupid numbers i needed 69 not 68.
anyway i didn't realize that i had bought the wrong one until i opened it, put them in the printer, and it told me that it didn't recognize the ink.
so it's opened. i have the box and receipt. they are unused.
will walmart take them back... let me exchange them for the correct ones?
or no because i opened them already?
thanks... i'd really like to not have wasted $55!!!!

You can try exchanging it or do you just want a refund?              Source(s):        www.walmart.com

Sadly if the ink cartridge has been opened and installed, no business will accept them back (unless you claim that they are defective).  Typically 'defect' claims need to be made directly to the manufacturer though, and not via the retailer.              Source(s):        http://www.castleink.com

Chances are they will. Walmart is pretty lenient on returning items. But, this also depends on the customer service person working with you and their observation of the situation
For an exchange, then you will have no problem in doing that transaction
